The BIG Give

The 4th Annual BIG Give is a peer-to-peer campaign created to support the Big Shoulders Fund Auxiliary Board Scholarship, which supports nearly 100 students at seven Big Shoulders Fund schools. This completely VIRTUAL campaign will bring crucial support to the next generation of leaders in Chicago! The campaign will last two weeks from December 1 - December 15.

Auxiliary Board Scholar testimony - Mia transferred to Our Lady of Tepeyac High School this year refering to the school as a breath of fresh air. She has worked hard in all of her classes, often making the honor roll. Mia participates in the school's volleyball and the soccer team. Big Shoulders Fund

Big Shoulders Fund is an independent charitable organization that serves schools with demonstrated need, which provide a quality, values-based education for Chicago’s children, thereby contributing to stronger communities. One hundred percent of funds currently raised support four major areas – scholarships and enrichment, operational improvements, academic programs, and leadership development– with the goal of not just strengthening schools, but whole communities, and preparing students for life-long success. The Auxiliary Board

Founded in 2007, the Big Shoulders Fund Auxiliary Board is comprised of a group of young professionals dedicated to supporting the mission of Big Shoulders Fund through volunteering, outreach and fundraising. Now in its 16th year, the Big Shoulders Fund Auxiliary Board has become one of the fastest growing young professional boards in Chicago. Currently, there are more than 183 active members who are hosting events, volunteering, and engaging with Big Shoulders Fund's network of schools by providing their time, talent, and treasure.
