What comes to mind when you think of someone being homeless? Is it the teacher at the middle school, a local fireman, the Amazon driver, the cashier at the grocery store, or the Uber driver delivering your food? Surprised? The Carying Place serves working, homeless families with children right here in the Triangle!

The need is great. Wake County's homeless population has nearly doubled since 2020. Sadly, more than 7,000 children will experience living in a shelter, hotel, car, couch surfing, or another form of homelessness this year.

Your financial contribution helps The Carying Place provides 16 weeks of transitional housing and up to 16 months of life skills, financial literacy, workforce development, and homeownership preparation for families in our community.
