Dear Friends: Jonathan and me, after riding last year in The Smart Ride 20 and see the tremendous effort done by riders, volunteers, staff, leadership and the community to give visibility to the fight against HIV/AIDS, we have decided to participate on The Joy Ride 2024 as riders! This cause is really important to us as we have seem the impact of all benefiting agencies! 100% of every dollar I raise will be shared with LGBT non-profit organizations around Florida. Very few organizations can boast that they have this guarantee, in-fact it is unheard of in an event like this. On Friday November 22nd, and Saturday November 23rd we will join The Joy Ride with hundreds of other individuals who will ride their bicycles or crew from Miami to Key West 165-miles. Our journey will be one filled with hope, with memories, with pride, and with the dream of a future free of AIDS. We personally want to do more than the required $2,400 together because we believe what we do makes a difference. Did you know that those being infected at the highest rate are ages 13-23, not a typo! Education, prevention, and care can make this disease a memory instead of a present-day reality.
