The Mercy Chair Blessing Closet

The Mercy Chair Blessing Closet Campaign — Helping Restore Dignity, One Life at a Time

At The Mercy Chair, we believe that every person deserves to feel seen, valued, and loved — no matter their situation. Every week we serve individuals who are experiencing homelessness, recovering from addiction, or simply walking through a difficult season of life. Through free haircuts, washes, and genuine compassion, we’ve watched people walk out not only looking different, but feeling restored.

But the need goes far beyond a haircut.

Many of the men and women we serve do not have access to basic necessities — clean clothing, hygiene items, or appropriate attire for job interviews and new opportunities. Something as simple as clean socks, deodorant, or a collared shirt can be the difference between discouragement and a fresh start.

That is why we are building The Mercy Chair Blessing Closet.

Our goal is to create a continual, completely free closet where individuals can receive:
• Hygiene essentials and daily necessities
• Clean clothing for everyday life
• A career closet with interview-ready outfits
• Seasonal items like jackets and shoes
• Encouragement, prayer, and community support

This campaign goal of $15,000 will allow us to:
• Cover one full year of overhead required to sustain the Blessing Closet
• Build and organize the physical closet space
• Stock essential hygiene and clothing items
• Ensure that anyone in need can continue receiving help without cost or barriers

We are not just giving away items — we are helping restore dignity, confidence, and hope. When someone feels clean, prepared, and cared for, doors begin to open again.

The Mercy Chair exists because God called us to serve people where they are, and we believe this Blessing Closet will become a place where lives begin to turn around.

If you feel led to give, pray, or share this campaign, you are becoming part of every story that walks through our doors.

Together, we can make sure that no one in our community has to face life without basic necessities or the reminder that they matter.

Thank you for being part of this mission.
