Andy, a scientist, accompanied by his research partner, Hank, must decide the moral dilemma of taking an important resource from an alien planet to save their dying Earth. The two get into an intense argument. Andy wants to protect his world with his family first, even if it means sacrificing the ecosystem of this alien planet. Hank, on the other hand, believes that it is not worth destroying a planet holding intelligent life. What would you do?

Our goal is to bring the science fiction genre to life by telling a very human story. We want to speak on how morality can be bent in the heat of high-stakes decisions. While our story will present a larger-than-life situation, we will be representing many different and relatable human emotions, such as love, selfishness, hope, and discouragement, all in the midst of a high-intensity argument.

In combining science fiction, stylistic filmmaking, and a deeply human story, we hope to make a short film that will be exciting, entertaining, heartfelt, and thoughtful. Though this story will not be sunshine and rainbows, we look to have a focus on hope. In spreading this hope, we wish that any followers of this project will be able to have a fun time in seeing the conception and release of this project.
