The Pod Play Cafe is an intentionally inclusive, diverse and neurodiversity affirming play cafe, created by a neurodivergent mama for ALL families in Central PA to create a community, connect with one another and provide a safe and inclusive space for children with minds of all kinds to play and grow together.

What is Neurodiversity?

The word neurodiversity refers to the diversity of all people, but it is often used in the context of autism spectrum disorder (ASD), as well as other neurological or developmental conditions such as ADHD or learning disabilities. 

It is estimated that 20% (or 1 in 8 people) of the world’s population are neurodivergent, yet only 50% of neurodivergent individuals know that they are neurodivergent. There are approximately 900,000 people living within 25 miles of Camp Hill, PA. Given the statistics above, it would be estimated that 183,000+ individuals are neurodivergent.

What is the Neurodiversity Movement?
