Local news needs your support

Today we are asking for your help to sustain local reporting in our community. These are unprecedented times, and we are working around-the-clock to provide the best possible coverage, sometimes taking risks to keep Presidio, Brewster and Jeff Davis Counties informed. In the meantime, we’ve had massive cuts to our revenue stream as we, like other local businesses, are at a critical moment.

This important work is sustained by your financial support, through subscriptions and ads, and now we hope through your generous donations. As we continue our coverage — from live updates to in-depth news stories — we are calling on our readers, our community and lovers of Marfa to help fund COVID-19 coverage and deliver life-saving news and information to the region.

We’ve partnered with the COVID-19 Local News Fund to enable you, our valued reader and supporter, to make a tax-deductible charitable contribution. Even $20 can help.

Our sincerest gratitude,

Maisie Crow, Editor-in-Chief & Max Kabat, Publisher
