The Shimsha Project is a nonprofit initiative dedicated to revitalizing Assyrian villages in Northern Iraq through sustainable, off-grid energy solutions. Our mission is simple: Power, Retain, and Grow. We begin by installing air conditioning systems in churches, schools, and daycares — bringing immediate relief and dignity to communities facing extreme heat and unreliable electricity. By improving daily life, we help retain families who might otherwise be forced to leave, and we lay the groundwork for population and cultural growth. In partnership with trusted local organizations like the Shlama Foundation and Shlama Green Energy, we combine grassroots impact with technical expertise to bring lasting change where it’s needed most.
