Greetings, Neighbors!

Please join us on Friday, November 8th, from 6:00 - 8:00 pm for a casual gathering of drinks, bites, and conversation at The Twisted Tail (509 S. 2nd St) in support of the New Market & Head House Conservancy’s campaign to restore the historic Isaiah Lukens clock in the cupola of the Head House. The clock has not been functional for many years, however, our collective effort will restore this important piece of history back to its former glory.

For this very limited aspect of our larger project of restoring and preserving the Head House, The Conservancy has a fundraising goal of $15,000. With your help, we will have the clock installed and running by June 2025. No donation is too small, and we are sincerely appreciative of any amount you can contribute. While The Conservancy awaits our 501(c)(3) status approval, tax deductible donations can be made payable to The Society Hill Preservation Foundation, Attn: Save the Clock! Any surplus beyond our clock fundraising goal will go toward to $1.5M restoration of the Head House and Shambles.
