The Bernadine Casseus Transgender Laureate Program is dedicated to uplifting transgender and gender-diverse individuals whose work advances dignity, justice, and community care.

Named in honor of Bernadine Casseus, a fierce trans community organizer and ballroom advocate, the program recognizes trans leaders, creatives, and visionaries whose contributions foster empowerment, visibility, and meaningful change—often in the face of systemic barriers.

The Bernadine Casseus Transgender Laureate exists because trans individuals need hope and empowerment in a time of need.

If that means something to you, please consider a contribution to the Transgender Laureate program.
