Since 2022, The Urban Front has provided life-saving health and safety services to over 4,000 unhoused individuals annually across west Phoenix. We also provide community health support, advocacy and resources through community events across the Valley.
Your support makes this life-saving work possible. With growing need across the Valley, every donation directly funds the supplies, outreach, and advocacy that save lives in our neighborhoods. Help us continue providing essential resources and advocating for policies that protect our community's most vulnerable members. Together, we can create lasting change.
The Urban Front fills a vital equity gap, ensuring that our community receives culturally responsive services that meet people where they are, without judgment or barriers.
We're grateful for partners like you who make our work possible. Donate today!
About Us: Our bilingual mobile outreach brings essential supplies directly to communities where people face barriers accessing traditional services. We provide naloxone (overdose reversal medication), fentanyl test strips, safe sex materials, infectious disease prevention supplies, first aid supplies, hygiene kits, socks, heat relief, and connections to shelter, substance use treatment and medical care. Our mobile approach responds to municipal restrictions and frequent encampment displacement that separates our participants from fixed-site resources. We currently serve the Alhambra, Maryvale and Estrella neighborhoods, encompassing the heart of the westside.
Beyond our outreach, we engage communities that face barriers to healthcare throughout the greater Phoenix area through bilingual community events where we table, share supplies, and provide education, and partner with permanent supportive housing to provide ongoing supplies and education to formerly unhoused individuals.
