Three Little Girls Need Their Hero
In April 2025, Elijah Ford — husband and father of three little girls under four — was diagnosed with Stage 4 Diffuse Large B-Cell Lymphoma, an aggressive and fast-moving cancer.
Before the diagnosis, Elijah worked full-time as an electrician. He was the provider, the protector, the steady one.
What began as a misdiagnosis quickly spiraled into something life-threatening. By October, the mass had overtaken his left lung. His lungs were filling with fluid. He was placed on high-flow oxygen. He was barely cognizant.
Doctors quietly told his wife he might not survive traditional chemotherapy in his condition.
So they made a desperate decision: travel out of state to Arizona for alternative, integrative treatment.
Today?
Elijah is night and day different from where he was three months ago.
A recent CT scan shows a 50% reduction in the mass in his lung.
The treatment is working.
But it costs between $9,000–$16,000 per week, most often on the higher end.
They have used everything.
They have taken out a loan on their paid-off family home.
They are now trying to sell the property Elijah inherited from his grandfather — just to stay alive.
Every week of treatment keeps him here.
Every interruption risks losing the progress already made.
Elijah doesn’t want luxury.
He wants time.
Time to watch his daughters grow.
Time to hold his wife.
Time to live beyond cancer.
