Since day 1 Tiny House Big Movement has been about community.

We engage with policymakers, community leaders, and the public to advocate for tiny house-friendly zoning laws, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to choose how and where they live. By sharing our knowledge and experiences, we strive to dispel myths about tiny living and showcase its benefits—economic, ecological, and social.

We are here to change the way we all live with a focus on innovation, wellness, agriculture and community engagement. Our mission is to enhance people’s lives while building community. THBM has challenged the concept of a dwelling and how it should be defined, re-establishing societal norms and adjusting mindsets. This movement has always been a grassroots effort even before we became involved in the work. We acknowledge municipality procedures and building codes all designed to protect us. We also value community and understand the tone it sets in any neighborhood. Any successes we've generated this far has been because of your faith in seeing these communities become available and our dedication to making it a reality through partnerships and programming. We have not received any investors, funding assistance, government funding nor grant awards (as of December 2025). Every dollars raised has been through YOU - our friends, neighbors, entrepreneurs, staff & board members' support and our annual homeownership programs and community events. Fundraising currently serves as our lifeline to operate. By partnering with us, your continued support powers the mission of creating alternative housing options for many.

NEW for 2026. The Cottages at Corban will serve as our pilot project in conjunction with We Build Concord. Additionally it will be funded using the newly formed Revolving Construction Loan. Construction is anticipated to begin Spring 2026. Funds may only be used for construction and will be provided once building begins.

Your contributions are still needed for daily support of operating the organization. Our small team does not receive a salary. We are volunteers until we receive funding and/or once we generate sales. So we appreciate your donations.

This campaign will serve as the kickoff for Giving Thursday and our Year End support to close the year out strong. Little by little or Brick by Brick is how we've created Tiny House Big Movement. We will continue to lay a solid foundation with you in mind, every step of the way, as we reCreate many MORE communities.
