Hi friends!
For those who know me, you guys know how much of an impact The Little Red Dog has had on my life. Firstly, my big guy Teddy was saved by them! Teddy was found by a Good Samaritan limping along the streets of LA. He was clearly in pain but he hopped right towards the Good Samaritan with a huge smile and even though the rescue was full, they couldn't say no to his cute face... and thank god they didn't! Teddy got the medical care he needed and now he's the biggest, clumsiest, and most lovable tripod in the world. Teddy joined mine and Roo's family shortly after that in 2022 and it's been us three ever since :)
Secondly, I was fortunate enough to be able to work with this crew for a while and I've seen firsthand how hard they all work to change these dog's lives. Hundreds of dogs in the time I've been with TLRD and thousands of lives in total have been changed because of them! The TLRD family is always working overtime and with limited resources since there are so many dogs who need help. We all wish money wasn't important in saving lives but unfortunately it is and TLRD always takes the dogs who have the most medical care because no one else can (all of my foster dogs have been medical cases and doing the math, TLRD has spent upwards of $15,000 on my fosters alone just so they could live the rest of their lives happy and with their forever homes)
For this year's Home for the Holidays, my goal is to reach $1000 which is the average cost it takes for TLRD to save one dog from rescue to spay/neuter, vaccines, to living costs. I'm a part of this fundraiser so I can do my small part to help TLRD save more dogs!
Thanks for reading mine and Teddy's story and for donating to my page!
