Since 1984, the Foundation has been unwavering in its commitment to protecting, preserving and promoting erotic art—a legacy inspired by Tom of Finland and propelled into new realms of cultural relevance. 

We maintain a collection of more than 1,000 original Tom works and another 1,500 from hundreds of other erotic artists; our library of over half-a-million books, periodicals, films, and our archive of images and materials support researchers, curators and curious minds alike.  
Our Artist-in-Residence Program, public exhibitions, community events and educational outreach continue to generate vital visibility for erotic art and the LGBTQ+ creative community.
