Artist-in-Residence Program

Tom of Finland Foundation’s storied Artist-in-Residence Program grants its participants the unique opportunity to live and create in the same place that inspired Tom over 40 years ago. Up to twelve emerging and established LGBTQ+ artists per year are invited to the Program, which operates in three-month cycles. With your support, the cost of lodging, meals, and art supplies will be offset, allowing the Residents to be financially unburdened for the duration of their stay at TOM House. The Residency provides all participating artists the freedom to unleash their genius, depict their innermost desires, and express themselves through experimentation. The culmination of the Residency is an exhibition of the artist’s work at TOM House with a publicly celebrated opening ceremony and artist talk.
