Tom of Finland Foundation Collection Conservation Fund

Tom of Finland Foundation’s crown jewel is its Queer erotic archive, which boasts 8,000 pieces of artwork from over 800 Queer artists dating back to the 1930s. Tom of Finland’s extensive personal collection of work, including childhood works and preparatory drawings are also located in the Foundation’s holdings. 

As the Foundation continues to amass artworks, proper temperature and humidity controlled storage is paramount. Additionally, as Tom’s works age, they begin to deteriorate, requiring professional restoration to preserve them for future Queer generations. 

With your help, the Tom of Finland Foundation collection will remain the preeminent archive for Queer and erotic art, maintaining the legacies of Tom, his contemporaries, and his successors.
