Together, we can nourish our neighbors and strengthen our local food system. Help us stock food pantries with healthy meals.

The Food Equity Collaborative is working to build a more just and resilient food system by increasing access to nutritious, locally sourced meals. We are proud to partner with Equiti Foods, a small business dedicated to putting healthy, locally sourced, and good-tasting meals on the tables of those in our community.

Food assistance programs have changed a lot this year. The Healthy Opportunities Pilot program closed, SNAP benefits are changing, and SNAP and WIC may be impacted by the ongoing government shutdown. Many families in our community are facing gaps in access to nutritious food and are turning to local food pantries for help. The Food Equity Collaborative and Equiti Foods are joining forces to provide pantries with healthy, locally sourced meals. You can help us fill this gap and nourish our neighbors. 

Your gift to the Food Equity Collaborative today will stock food pantries with Good Bowls, nourish community members in need, and support local farmers. 

Thanks to a generous donor, gifts will be matched dollar for dollar up to $20,000 until November 27. This means your donation today will have double the impact.

If you would like to donate to a Triangle-area food pantry not listed, please leave a note indicating which organization you would like to support. We will contact your suggested organization to ensure they are able to distribute frozen meals.

11/07: Thanks to your support, we donated 575 meals to CORA Pittsboro, CORA Siler City, and PORCH today! See photos on our Instagram page!

11/12: We are overwhelmed with your generosity. We will be delivering 1,420 Good Bowls to CORA, PORCH, IFC, TABLE, and Durham Community Fridges this Friday!

11/14: We delivered 1,420 meals today, made possible by donors like you! 

11/15: Our generous donor has extended the deadline for their matching donation! Every dollar donated will continue to be matched until November 27, up to $20,000. Help us make the most of this match!

11/21: We've delivered 2,655 meals to CORA, PORCH, IFC, TABLE, and the Durham Community Fridge at the Scrap Exchange so far!

11/28: Together, we raised $13,760 during the match period. Our generous donor matched this amount dollar for dollar, bringing donations through Thanksgiving up to $27,520. We are so grateful for your support and can't wait to deliver more meals!

12/05: 3,645 meals have been donated to local food pantries so far!
