You don't care about other people's pain?

No, of course you do - I know you do. And I know it's heavy. The barriers to helping can be hard to identify and overcome.

Many others in your community also care about (the population you care about) . If you knew who they were, who would help them become a team? What tools would your team use to transform lives?

Without teams and tools we are stuck. The barriers are too high.

We don't have a resource problem - We Have a Connection Problem.

The Connection Problem is both deep (soul-level) and wide (systems and societal-level).

StoryConnect equips all of us to steward the deep and wide Connection Craft that transforms souls, systems, and society.

We will build a connection team, in Dayton and nationally, that will catalyze and interconnect teams (we call them networks) to build collaborative power to transform the lives of many.

If a rising tide lifts all boats, then our team of servants rises the tide.

We work at the city-level through Unify Dayton and in connection with other city-network transformation leaders. Most of whom are a part of the City Leaders Collective. At the national-level we work in partnership, cross-sector, with hundreds of tools we need to elevate and be used.

Over the past 10 years, I've found hundreds of tools that guide teams to transform what they care about. A fraction of them are in these 45 posts and 15-page catalog.

One great example serves single parents nationally. Do you know how many single parents are in your county? Likely thousands. Would you and your team know how to best care for them?

Here's a tool that does.

The Life of a Single Mom has "Single Mom University", a plug-and-play support group model, and a peer coaching network that has launched over 2,000 single mom support groups around the country.

Did that one-sentence description inspire you to action? No. But if we recorded a video-podcast interview with the founder, Jennifer, it might. Jennifer will share the problem, solutions, and her story in best caring for single moms and their children.

We will also convert these interviews into shorts and smaller videos.

Podcast popularity continues to rise. 47% of the US population who are 12 years or older are listening to at least one podcast a month. See chart below. YouTube (video-based) is now the preferred podcast platform.

The goal is for people to listen and share Jennifer's episode with the right people so that 5 single mom support groups could start in your area. That would transform the trajectories of 100 single moms and their children for generations.

Additionally, StoryConnect has a vast national network. 70% of new podcasts are listened to through word of mouth. Because of that one episode, we plan for hundreds of groups to start in cities around the country.

And that's only one episode. We have over 100 stories we wish we could record and share right now.

In the past 8 years I've listened to over a thousand podcasts episodes. I've consumed great and awful content. I've searched high-and-low for a podcast that will do what we'll do and prep our guests like this so to produce and distribute the highest-quality interview we can. I can't find it.

It's time to press record on the conversations I'm already having and turn up the megaphone.

Both an orchestra-level audio engineer and video agency (with collective views of 18 Billion!) have said yes to being our post-production team!!!

Will you help fund a one-year budget for equipment ($4K), software ($2K), contractors ($2K) and distribution ($2K)? (We've already raised $2K!)

Our goal is that each story will 10x the organization's impact, raising thousands of dollars, volunteers and new employees.

Right now, each story I share goes an inch deep. This podcast will 10x decrease time spent converting awareness into action.

Now, we can say, "You care about _____? Love it! Listen to this episode and when you're done let me know what next-step you'd like to take. We'll connect you with the right people."
