Topgolf For Safe & Healthy Homes

Join us for an evening of high spirited competition at the Rebuilding Together Topgolf Fundraiser! The event will feature three hours of competitive play in Topgolf's climate controlled hitting bays and access to a Topgolf pro for tips. The fun and games don’t stop there! Indulge in our open bar and delicious food stations. What could be better? No golfing ability? No problem! Topgolf is a game that anyone can play (and win!). Score points by hitting micro-chipped golf balls at giant dartboard-like targets on an outfield. Balls hit closest to the center of the target and furthest away from the bay have the highest point value.
Story
For over 25 years, Rebuilding Together Miami-Dade has offered free home repair and modification services for vulnerable families in need. Our efforts preserve naturally occurring affordable housing, stabilize communities, and ensure the safety and health of residents.
There is an urgent challenge facing Miami-Dade County; far too many homeowners have trouble maintaining their homes, resulting in a lack of housing security and stability. The staggering cost of home repair services puts an enormous strain on cost-burdened families, both financially and emotionally. Additionally, once a home falls into serious disrepair, it can lead to a plethora of safety and health hazards for residents.
In our time serving Miami-Dade County, we have seen far too many families forced to forgo critical home maintenance projects in order to afford basic necessities such as food and healthcare. Safe and affordable homes allow residents to spend five times more on healthcare and three times more on healthy, nutritious food. Accessibility modifications give disabled homeowners independence at home and patching roofs and properly ventilating homes keep children healthy; resulting in less sick days and more school days.
One person or organization cannot solve Miami-Dade County's affordable housing crisis alone. With your help, we will continue repairing homes, revitalizing communities, and rebuilding lives.
