touch the sky is a community of housed, unhoused, and housing insecure people building the foundational network of relationships needed for true, collective power. together, we break bread, we share our stories, and we help each other survive. we host 3 free meals a week, distribute survival camping supplies (including propane heat in the winter), offer harm reduction and basic wound care, support those involved in court processes, and problem solve together to address any other community needs as they arise. our work is deeply relational, building a culture of horizontal action and power, trust, solidarity, and anti-disposability.

all money collected through this givebutter goes towards making this work happen. one-off donations are great, but recurring donations - even as small as $5 - help increase the sustainability of our work. 

currently, our recurring donations go towards the following expenses: brewing coffee weekly for 40+ people, handwarmers and emergency blankets, weekly propane distributions (in the winter), weekly BBQ groceries for our community meal (in the summer), emergency survival gear, winterizing supplies, hygiene supplies, and $5 handouts to any unhoused person who comes to our weekly community meeting.
