Warm Cup. Warm Hands. Warm Hearts.
It’s a chilly day. Your breath is visible in the cold, bitter air as you walk into your local coffee shop. With zero hesitation you order a caramel latte, handing the barista a crisp $5 bill. The moment the cup hits your hands you left out a sigh of relief, taking great comfort in the warmth as it spreads from your fingertips down to your toes.
Gloves, you ponder, would probably have worked just as well. And they’re far more cost effective than a caramel latte.
Five dollars, you imagine, could go an awful long way—especially for someone who needs it most.

Unfortunately, there are hundreds of people experiencing homelessness in the Quad Cities, and many are in and out of services with The Project. As we assist them in accessing housing, medical care, and other critical resources, we’re asking for your help in providing the essentials to keep them warm this winter.
