Invest in Opportunity. Build Careers.

People who are blind continue to face barriers to meaningful employment, from inaccessible workplaces and limited training opportunities to misconceptions about their capabilities. The impact is significant: 42% of adults with vision loss report household incomes below $20,000, compared with just 15.2% of adults without vision loss.

Beyond Vision addresses these barriers through meaningful employment where professionals who are blind can build skills, gain experience, and grow throughout their careers. Your gift supports the work and resources that make this possible.

Accessible Jobs and Modern Equipment

Modern equipment and adaptive tools expand the range of jobs professionals who are blind can perform safely and independently. Our engineers work alongside employees to develop fixtures, tools, and processes that remove barriers while maintaining quality and efficiency.

Training and Career Development

Employees receive hands on training to build the skills needed for their roles and prepare for greater responsibility. As their careers develop, Beyond Vision also provides paid time and financial support for college coursework, certifications, conferences, and specialized training aligned with their goals.

Technology and Digital Access

Digital information can offer tremendous independence when employees have the right tools to access it. Beyond Vision provides options such as screen readers and magnification software while investing in compatible digital platforms so employees can independently access the systems and information they need to work and grow.

Support Throughout a Career

Beyond Vision invests in outreach and recruitment within the blindness community to ensure our employment opportunities reach the people who can benefit from them. Once employees join our team, support continues across the organization, with Human Resources, IT, Engineering, and other teams providing the expertise and resources needed to address barriers and support career growth.
