Transform Storm Damage Relief

Funds Needed For Tree Removal And Repair From Hurricane

Thanks a lot, Helene! The hurricane swept through town Friday with near-hurricane-force gusts that took out many sections of trees in the area, including one that decided to land on the garage for Transform, our local clothing closet for trans youths and LGBTQIA community center on Montgomery Road in Silverton.

Although we are waiting for our new climate-controlled clothing storage unit to be delivered, in the next few weeks, until then all of our donated clothes are stored in this garage, so we can't have the roof leaking. The tree removal service is not covered by our insurance policy, but our insurance will cover other damage repair after our sizeable deductible, so we are trying to raise $3,500 to cover this unexpected emergency expense. Please give what you can through our fiscal sponsor, Community Shares of Greater Cincinnati! All gifts are tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law.
