Transform is the only clothing charity in the Cincinnati area dedicated to serving trans and gender non-binary youth, offering them as many free clothes as they’d like—in styles that reflect who they truly are. Youth can contact us to schedule a personalized clothing appointment.

It costs us approximately $450 in expenses to serve one youth client with a new wardrobe. This includes staff time for sorting donated clothing, for a stylist to review available items and pull clothes based on the client's style survey, for a staff member to open our facility for the client and their support system to come try on the clothes, supplies such as bags and hangers, a proportionate share of rent and utilities, and other expenses associated with this service. We average about six clients per week, or 26 per month, which costs us about $11,700 per month. We rely on donations and grants to cover these expenses, as we never charge the families anything for our services.

We are seeking donors willing to commit to $40 per month for a year to cover the cost of wardrobe services for one child annually. (Or you may choose to make an annual gift of $450.) Recurring monthly gifts are most needed, but one-time, quarterly, or annual contributions are also appreciated. We need your help now.

We also operate Cincinnati’s only LGBTQIA+ community center, providing:

Weekly activities for both adults and youth
Daily open hours for trans youth to socialize in a safe environment
Multiple monthly support groups in partnership with local organizations
