Family and friends, come to Lake Wheeler and meet us at the Oar Shed immediately following practice (11 a.m.) on Saturday, October 11th, to support (TR)²—Triangle Rowing's Tuition Reduction program and experience rowing in a crew shell! The coaches will give participants a crash course, and then they will put their skills to work with what promises to be the best (or at least funniest) race of the season!

Parent Tailgate
Before our time on the lake, ALL PARENTS are invited to meet new and old friends at the TRC Parent Tailgate. We'll meet in the athlete parking lot during practice (8-11), and you'll have the opportunity to enjoy snacks and coffee, ask questions, and get to know your fellow TRC parents and community.

Celebrate at Trophy
After the rowing is done, join us at Trophy Brewing & Taproom to regale one another with stories of impressive speed and skill. Everyone is welcome — even if you can’t make it to the lake, come join the fun with us at Trophy!

🚨For those unable to attend the event or who wish to invite family and friends to cheer from shore and/or meet us at Trophy, donations are gratefully accepted and appreciated, but not required.

Why We Row: (TR)² Scholarships
The sport of rowing requires enormous dedication from team members and their families. The strength and confidence gained from this unique athletic experience will serve young rowers throughout their lives, but rowing programs are expensive. As a club, we depend almost entirely on registration and program fees to operate, fees that some families may find challenging.

Our team is our most valuable asset, and we never want financial barriers to prevent us from welcoming new participants. Your support of the (TR)² program is critical in our ability to provide the monetary boost eligible families need to bring rowing costs within their reach.

The Triangle Rowing Club is the premier youth rowing club and competitive team in the Triangle area! Based at Lake Wheeler, we welcome middle and high school students from across Raleigh, Durham, Cary, Apex, Holly Springs, Garner, and Wake Forest.
