For more than 165 years, The Trinity Journal has been committed to providing the coverage that’s most important to our readers and the health of our Trinity communities. Based on our conversations with readers, and what we hear from folks across the region, environmental reporting is a critical issue in the North State that we need to cover more deeply than ever.

We are setting out to launch an in-depth look at the health of the Trinity River, a long-term project that will focus on the impacts of the Trinity and Lewiston dams some 60 years later, water diversions, the fisheries, and the impacts of restoration efforts — both good and bad. To do this right, we need your help.
