Dear North Hall Middle School families, Welcome to a new school year! The NHMS PTSO is looking forward to an amazing year with you, your students and our teachers and staff at North Hall Middle. The NHMS PTSO is an organization made up of parents and teachers who work together as a team to enrich and improve the educational environment and experiences at North Hall Middle School. Our PTSO is independent from the National and State PTAs, which means that 100% funds raised are used for NHMS PTSO programs. The purpose of the PTSO is to help support programs such as: Acquisition of equipment/supplies for the school that otherwise would not be available, such as new portable two-way radios for safety, digital microscopes for science classrooms, software programs for ELA and more, purchased last year. Financial support for classroom curriculum enhancement Staff appreciation events Student social events This year, as an alternative to numerous fundraisers throughout the year, we’re offering families the opportunity to make direct donations to NHMS PTSO. NO selling, NO hassle, NO fuss, and 100% of the proceeds go to benefit our school. If the participation in this fundraiser is successful, there will be no other fundraisers this year. Although we will still ask for snack/drink donations for various events such as socials, teacher appreciation, etc and may also ask you to volunteer your time. Your contribution is completely voluntary, and we greatly appreciate any amount that your family feels comfortable donating.
