The Downieville Classic Mountain Bike Festival is home to the All-Mountain World Championships, where riders race for two days and have to pick one bike for two disciplines: a 27-mile point-to-point cross country race and the 15 mile Downieville Downhill (the longest downhill race in the nation).

Not a racer? Not to worry. Nearly as famous as the races are Ron’s House of Big Air River Jump, Log Pull competition, live music and outdoor exposition on Main Street.
