No, it's not a sales gimmick. They really love having another cat to grow up with as a companion like FOCA sisters Karrie & Ellie (l to r) pictured below. Even our older resident cats at FOCA find that having a feline friend is important.

Some say cats aren't social creatures. Let's be frank. Those people are wrong. So we often tell people coming for one kitten that they really are better in pairs. We even advise that approximately 8 out of 10 people who get one kitten return within 30 days looking for another. That's why we have this event.

So on a day geared to love we thought it would be great to have a two-gether forever event. Kittens (cats under 1 year) are $150 each at FOCA (we're keeping our prices down as long as we can). But we thought it would be nice to have a day dedicated to getting a discount when you get two. What better day than St. Valentine's Day!

Maybe you and a mate are looking to increase your household members by two. Maybe you're single and lookin' to mingle. Don't worry. There's no pressure to decide. Trust us: the cats pick YOU and not the other way around. Point is, we're having a day so FOCA cats and FOCA friends can make a match!

By offering this discount it does mean that it's less money we're taking in. So that's why we have this fundraiser here to help us offset the discounted adoption fees. About Us: Friends of Companion Animals Feline Rescue & Adoption Center is a 501c3 nonprofit animal welfare organization is a cats only shelter that has been preventing unwanted feline litters from growing up on the streets or entering the already overcrowded animal shelters in Monroe County since 2011. Friends of Companion Animals encourages the spaying/neutering of companion animals and conducts trap-neuter-release in public places where free roaming cats are prevalent as volunteers permit.
