Texas AmeriCorps Member Emergency Fund

AmeriCorps members are on the front lines, delivering vital services that strengthen communities across Texas. Their commitment is unwavering, even as they serve on modest living allowances that can make unexpected financial challenges—like urgent car repairs, family emergencies, or medical needs—especially difficult to manage.

To ensure these dedicated individuals can stay focused on their service, OneStar administers the Texas AmeriCorps Member Emergency Fund. This fund provides timely financial assistance to AmeriCorps members facing hardship, helping them overcome unforeseen obstacles and continue making a lasting impact in communities throughout our state.

Disclaimer: Donations will appear as “OneStar FDN” on credit card statements. Funds raised for the Texas AmeriCorps Emergency Fund will be used to provide present and future emergency financial payments to AmeriCorps members serving in Texas. Every attempt will be made to use the funds raised for this intended purpose; if that is not possible, OneStar’s Board of Directors will designate funds address other urgent needs. Any comments entered in the Note/Comment field on our donation platform are welcomed and appreciated, but they will not be treated as donor designations.
