I am a 9th grader at Grossmont High School, where I am involved in the music program, playing viola in the advanced orchestra. 

I really enjoy my time at TYP, whether I am just doing a cabaret or at a rehearsal/show, and deeply appreciate everyone there. I have appeared in past productions by TYP as an ensemble member in Beauty And The Beast, Cruella in the 4th Annual Halloween show, Miss Lynch in Grease, and in Pershing Middle’s production of Shrek Jr. appearing as Papa Bear, Queen Iduna for Frozen Jr! I spent part of my summer interning for Aladdin Jr, and I’ve recently joined TYP’s Youth Board as a member of the social media team.

I really appreciate the time taken to read about my theatre backstory/history and hopefully have had time to consider sponsoring me. I am really passionate about doing theatre and enjoy doing TYP with everyone, especially since TYP is an extremely welcoming place. The first time I came, I was scared that everyone would judge, but I was proven wrong almost immediately. I’ve found my best friends here, and I am so happy that I’ve gotten to spend my time with them.

To me(and multiple others), TYP is a safe place for anyone. It would be amazing if you came to see what TYP is about, whether it’s seeing a show or a cabaret. Everyone there is super sweet and kind, so it always makes me thankful to be there. Thank you so much for choosing to sponsor me and help me with my theatre experience at TYP.
