I am an 8th grader at Pershing Middle School, where I am involved in the music program, being in the musical and playing viola in the advanced orchestra.
I really enjoy my time at TYP, whether I am just doing a singing lesson or at a rehearsal/show, and deeply appreciate everyone there. I was recently in TYP’s 4th Annual All Hallows’ Eve Musical Review, playing the role of Cruella, it being only my second performance at TYP, but third(almost fourth) performance overall. I have appeared in a past production by TYP as an ensemble member in Beauty And The Beast, and in Pershing Middle’s production of Shrek Jr., appearing as Papa Bear, and recently cast as Queen Iduna for Frozen Jr. at Pershing!
I really appreciate the time taken to read about my theatre backstory/history and hopefully have had time to consider sponsoring me. I am really passionate about doing theatre and enjoy doing TYP with everyone, especially since TYP is an extremely welcoming place. The first time I came, I was scared that everyone would judge, but I was proven wrong almost immediately.
To me(and multiple others), TYP is a safe place for anyone. It would be amazing if you came to see what TYP is about, whether it’s seeing a show or a cabaret.
