Hello!

Welcome to my fundraising page! A huge thank you for taking the time to see what this is about. The short description is that I am raising funds to start an e-commerce website through a company called Art Storefronts. They specialize in helping artists market their art online. They bottle feed us because they know that most of us are... challenged when it comes to marketing our work so they have created a service that caters to our special needs and quirks. I have been researching this for some time and this company has the best reputation and the most tools that specifically target artists to help them sell their art.

The longer story is this has been a dream of mine for many, many years but I have swallowed the tea of the notion that you cannot make money as an artist. Is it the easiest way to make money? Probably not. But as I have gotten older I am prioritizing my happiness above all else. Nothing fills me with more joy, gratitude and purpose than making art. I am simply in my element when I am creating.

Looking back on my life it is crystal clear that I have always been an artist. A creator. I played several instruments, written songs, made art, pursued a career in hair that allowed me to be creative and make money. As a martial artist I am constantly digging deep within myself to re-create my movement and how I walk through the world. Well into my 50’s now I am finally honoring this part of my life. This is my calling. My purpose. What I was born to do. As a woman over 50, as you may know, I DGAF what anyone thinks about my choices anymore. I am finally heeding the call of my deepest self.

Any size of donation is helpful and supremely appreciated! I feel so incredibly lucky to have a group of friends and supporters that have been so generous over the years of my various endeavors. I am truly, truly blessed beyond my wildest dreams.
