Hi, my name is Ashley Maita, and this summer I need your support.

From July 1st to August 2nd, I’ll be traveling to the Dominican Republic to volunteer with Building Young Leaders (BYL) at their Summer Day Camp—and I couldn’t be more excited!

I’ll be leading arts & crafts sessions and starting a Fashion Club, helping students explore their creativity, build confidence, and express themselves in new ways. Most of the children in the program come from low-income communities, and this camp is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity they would not have access to without support.

But I can’t do it alone—I need your help.

I’m raising funds to cover:

• My room and board during the full month of volunteer work

• Camp scholarships for children (each scholarship is $300)

Every dollar raised not only helps me serve these amazing kids but also helps sponsor more children who deserve this life-changing experience.
