Early yesterday morning, on December 31, Pedro Gutierrez was violently apprehended by ICE, while his 16-year-old child sat terrified in their vehicle.  Today, we are not sure where he is, while we, his family, are left terrified and uncertain of our father’s safety and well-being. Pedro is the provider of our home. He is not here with us now, and we are devastated by his absence.  

Pedro is an exemplary father, husband and community member.  He is a quiet and humble man with a huge heart to help our family, neighbors or anyone who needs it.  He is a good friend. He has never had problems with the police or conflicts in our community.  

A devout Christian since birth, he has been the music director at our church for 15 years.  He is a beautiful singer and serves our community in many other volunteer capacities. Always lending a hand to help whomever needs help; Pedro is a generous person.  

Pedro dedicates and spends so much time with our family. We have fun together, learn together and face challenges together. We always look for different, healthy and engaging activities that we can do as a family.  As a good partner, he is kind, responsible, conscientious, respectful, and attentive.

More than 22 years ago, Pedro arrived in Durango and worked his way up from dishwasher to baker to painter. He is a hard worker and is now a respected painter.  He goes above and beyond to do his best work and provide the best service to his customers and community. 

Pedro is the provider of our home. He is not here with us now, and we are devastated by his absence and overwhelmed by the legal fees to represent Pedro in court.  We trust in God, and never imagined that this would happen to our family leader, who is faithful and honest.  Blessings and gratitude for your donation to help Pedro.

Ayer por la mañana temprano, el 31 de diciembre, Pedro Gutiérrez fue detenido violentamente por el ICE, mientras su joven de 16 años permanecía aterrorizado en su vehículo. Hoy no estamos seguros donde se encuentra Pedro. mientras su familia permanece aterrorizada e insegura sobre la seguridad y el bienestar de su padre. Pedro es el sustento de nuestro hogar. Ahora no está aquí con nosotros y estamos devastados por su ausencia.  

Pedro es un padre, esposo y miembro de la comunidad ejemplar. Es un hombre tranquilo y humilde con un gran corazón para ayudar a nuestra familia, a nuestros vecinos o a cualquiera que lo necesite. Es un buen amigo. Nunca ha tenido problemas con la policía ni conflictos en nuestra comunidad.  

Cristiano devoto desde su nacimiento, ha sido director musical de nuestra iglesia durante 15 años.  Es un cantante maravilloso y sirve a nuestra comunidad en muchas otras funciones voluntarias. Siempre dispuesto a echar una mano a quien lo necesita, Pedro es una persona generosa.  

Pedro dedica y pasa mucho tiempo con nuestra familia. Nos divertimos juntos, aprendemos juntos y enfrentamos retos juntos. Siempre buscamos actividades diferentes, saludables y atractivas que podamos hacer en familia.  Como buen compañero, es amable, responsable, concienzudo, respetuoso y atento.

Hace más de 22 años, Pedro llegó a Durango y se abrió camino desde lavaplatos hasta panadero. Es muy trabajador y se esforzó hasta convertirse en un pintor respetado.  Hace todo lo posible por dar lo mejor de sí mismo y ofrecer el mejor servicio a sus clientes y a la comunidad. 

Pedro es el sustento de nuestro hogar. Ahora no está aquí con nosotros, y estamos devastados por su ausencia y abrumados por los gastos legales para representarlo en la corte. Confiamos en Dios y nunca imaginamos que esto le sucedería al líder de nuestra familia, que es fiel y honesto. Bendiciones y gratitud por su donación para ayudar a Pedro.
