Changemakers: Small Acts, Big Change

Why Change Matters? By supporting Changemakers, you'll be part of a movement that's making a real difference in the lives of individuals and families in our community. At Murfreesboro Rescue Mission, we're dedicated to offering more than just temporary relief. We aim to empower individuals and families to break cycles of poverty, addiction, and despair. Your generosity will:

• Help build a 24-hour comprehensive shelter which aims to supply critical resources to support physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being
• Extend compassionate care to vulnerable populations, including children, seniors, and those navigating hardship and economic uncertainty

How to Get Involved: Every donation, big or small, makes a difference. You can contribute by collecting and dropping your spare change to our physical site during the month of November at any of the four (4) following events, or anytime during the month of November.

Week 1 (11/03): Blanket Drive (10 AM - 2 PM) - Donate and drop off new blankets for seasonal operations for persons that will be temporarily sheltered during winter operations. MRM Blanket Donation Guidelines.pdf 

Week 2 (11/08): Canned Food Drive (10 AM - 2 PM) - Donate non-perishable canned goods for Love Connection Feeding Ministry. See following list of food items we will be accepting: Murfreesboro_Rescue_Mission_Thanksgiving_Food_Donation_List.pdf 

Week 3 (11/14): Physical Spare Change Drive (1 PM - 5 PM) - Donate your coins to MRM during this drop off date and time.

Week 4 (11/29): Warm Hats, Mitts and Hot Cocoa (1 PM - 5 PM) As a token of our appreciation, stop by MRM Apartments to collect a warm hat or pair of mitts and enjoy some Hot Cocoa on us at MRM’s future site. Gather with us for this social evening, engaging with the community and spreading warmth. We want to personally say, thank you!
