There are many individuals in law enforcement, protective services, family support services, schools and our faith based community just to name a few, who have become part of the safety net for children who are at risk of abuse and neglect. These individuals are rarely recognized for the impact they have made on children who have been in difficult situations. We want to recognize and honor these special heroes.

One of Sr. Mary's favorite quotes is from Mr. Rogers who said, "Anyone who does anything to help a child is a hero to me."

Blessing House is a children's crisis care center that provides residential care for children, birth to age 12, when their families are experiencing an emergency and need a safe place for their children to stay. We provide loving care for children and support for their families at no cost to keep children safe and help families stay together. We are a non-denominational faith-based organization that opened in April 2005.
