Creation Class: Burning Hats

Class Instructor: Dinorah Lopez Class Description: Join us for an exciting and innovative workshop where you will master the art of woodburning while creating your own one-of-a-kind hat! This hands-on class will lead you through the steps of designing and burning intricate patterns onto your hat, giving you the freedom to showcase your style. Don't miss out on this opportunity to unleash your creativity and make a statement with your own custom hat! Materials Included: - Hat Base: Choose from a selection of high-quality felt or straw hats. - Woodburning Tools: All necessary woodburning equipment will be provided, including pens and tips for various effects. - Trimmings: A variety of embellishments to personalize your hat, including: - Hatbands in assorted colors and materials - Vibrant feathers to add flair and personality - Decorative playing cards for a unique touch, allowing for creative placement and design Duration: 2 hours Time & Date: Saturday, December 7 from 10 am – 12 pm Class Location: 225 Church Street Waynesville, NC 28786 (Lilac brick building with a row of orange chairs at the entrance. The HCAC classroom is the first classroom on the right) Parking: Guests are asked to park in the gravel lot above the building. Class Cost: $80.00 For ages 16+
