At last count there's 850-1000 beds available in the state of Delaware for the homeless.

According to HUD there are 7338 homeless people in the State.

An 18% homeless population increase in 2024 in Delaware.

A single parking lot in Northern New Castle County has 14 people of all genders and ages living in their cars. A woman 79yrs old, to a young man 25yrs old.

With Families and individuals living in tents

Real success stories are rare, while government bureaucracy traps people in endless agency visits and year-long housing waitlists.

We're changing that as their one source for help.

Cutting red tape to deliver resources: We are providing temporary and permanent shelter, food, clothing, gift cards, and employment services right where it's needed, so they get back on their feet fast and for good.

One on One case management, a big brother if you will, to help the way families need it,when they need it.

What we do:

Homeless Services Inc provides Rental Application Cosigning for low income, poor credit families/Individuals, Temp Shelter , Food, Clothing, Gift Cards, Employment Services directly to the homeless population of Delaware.

Our goal is to get Families and Individuals off the streets and into their own permanent housing with Full Time Employment. A hand up, instead of a handout.

But first we must put a roof over their heads and a meal in their belly. Then we provide one on one case management to help lift them up on their own two feet and back to being a productive member of society.

No two situations are the same. One person may need help paying car insurance this month if they are living in their car so they can work a DoorDash job. Another may be living in a tent and require additional help. We will provide that help.

We cut through all the red tape and waiting periods that government help requires to lift people out of the streets. We document each case and stay with them all the way thru getting their own apartment or room etc.
