2025 Music in the Parks - Universal Studios

Dear Choir Parents and Students,

We will be doing our final competition (Music in the Parks Festival) on May 17th at La Crescenta Valley Performing Arts Center.

After the competition (should be done by noon), some of the students will be going on to Universal Studios to go into the park. The awards ceremony will be inside the park sometime later in the late afternoon/early evening. 

We do have a few students coming back to Valencia High School with district-approved drivers after our competition.

You or your student should have already filled out a form via Google Classroom about which of the following options they will be doing:

• Attending the festival at La Crescenta and then going to Universal Studios. Riding the bus.
• Attending the festival at La Crescenta and then going to Universal Studios. Driving separately.
• Attending the festival at La Crescenta. Not going to Universal Studios, Parents are picking up after the festival.
• Attending the festival. Not going to Universal Studios. Will need a district-approved ride back to Valencia.

• Universal Studios Ticket, Festival Fee, and Bus Fee $186
• Universal Studios Ticket and Festival Fee only (Not going on the bus) $156
• Festival Fee Only $39
• Universal Studios Ticket Passholders. Only need a bus ride (don’t need a ticket to the park) $69

All students have a place in Valencia Choir. We turn no one away based on financial need or musical ability.  Our goal throughout our school, community, and the world is to  Inspire, Uplift, and Cultivate Community.
