We’re excited to officially launch Verdade, a nonprofit dedicated to improving the lives of people living with rare, invisible, and chronic illnesses through education, community, advocacy, and innovative initiatives.

We believe people deserve more than awareness. They deserve practical resources, stronger communities, opportunities to advocate for themselves, and support that helps them move from simply surviving to actively living.

And we’re just getting started.

What We're Building

Your support helps us turn Verdade from a new organization into a sustainable resource for the communities we serve. Some of the work already underway includes:

Education & Verdade University
We’re developing accessible educational resources and building Verdade University, our online learning platform for patients, caregivers, volunteers, and community members.

The Connective Collective
We’re creating opportunities for people affected by rare, invisible, and chronic conditions to connect, learn from one another, share experiences, and find community.

The Verdade Podcast
We’re building a dedicated podcast and recording space where we can have honest conversations about chronic illness, patient advocacy, healthcare, nonprofit work, and the people working to change these systems. Your support will help us establish the studio, acquire equipment, produce episodes, and make these conversations accessible to a wider audience.

Advocacy & Awareness
We’re developing initiatives that challenge misconceptions surrounding rare and invisible illnesses, amplify patient voices, and help make experiences that are often unseen better understood.

Taking Verdade's Mission Global

Verdade co-founder Dr. Hollie Robichaud has been invited to speak, lead, moderate, and participate in healthcare conferences around the world.

These invitations give Verdade an opportunity to bring conversations about rare, invisible, and chronic conditions directly into professional spaces where healthcare education, research, policy, and practice are being discussed.

The Bangkok summit is accredited for continuing medical education through the European Board for Accreditation of Continuing Education for Health Professionals and the American Medical Association.

Traveling internationally to participate in these events carries significant costs. Donations to this campaign can help cover transportation, lodging, conference-related expenses, educational materials, and the resources necessary to represent Verdade and its mission at these events.
