Nestled in the hills of Mason County, West Virginia, Potts Chapel has quietly stood for generations as a place of faith, hope, and community. Although regular services have long since ended, the chapel remains a meaningful landmark for countless families whose lives and memories are woven into its walls and the surrounding cemetery.

For me, Potts Chapel is more than an old building.

It is a place that has drawn me in since childhood. Every visit reminded me that some places are worth preserving—not simply because of their history, but because of what they represent. Peace. Faith. Heritage. A place where generations once gathered to worship and where future generations deserve the opportunity to do the same.

Today, Potts Chapel needs restoration.

Our mission is to preserve this historic chapel, care for the surrounding grounds and cemetery, and thoughtfully restore the building so it can once again serve as a place of reflection, prayer, community gatherings, and worship.
