GamechangHERS started with a single social media post in 2024 inviting people to a women's basketball watch party. Four people showed up. That small gathering has since grown into over 30+ annul watch parties, game day meet ups and today, it's grown into ROYALS Academy: our flagship youth development program using women's sports as the vehicle to build the next generation of girl leaders.

This isn't just a program to our founder, it's personal. She grew up watching her grandmother pour into everyone around her, showing up for people even when there was little to give. She poured heavily into the youth and elderly, and that's where DeeCee learned that showing up and building community is everything. DeeCee started GamechangHERS because she refuses to let any young girl go without any and ll resources needed to be successful. Every Royal in this program is a girl will become a GAMECHANGHER for in the future.

ROYALS serves girls and young ladies ages 6–22 across four tiers: Junior, Rising, Elite, and Legacy Royals. We are built on six pillars: Leadership Development, Mental Wellness, Academic Support, Career Exposure, Live Sports Experiences, and Mentorship & Community. ROYALS welcomes every girl in ages 6-22 with a current interest in women's sports (on court or front office) with a high interest in girls in foster care and single-parent households, to help make success possible regardless of cost.
