Five-Year Funding Needs for Our New Healing Arts Studio
Our mission for 2026 is to establish a secure, trauma-informed creative studio. In this permanent home, survivors of profound trauma can gather, reflect, and transform pain into purpose and growth through the power of art.
Located in Downtown Los Angeles, our existing studio space has served as a critical lifeline. However, limitations in both safety and capacity prevent us from fully realizing our vision. That’s why we are working to relocate to a dedicated, spacious facility in the Hollywood Media District, one that will serve as the heartbeat of our growing initiative.
This new home will become the foundation of The 8 Model, a multifaceted program designed to guide participants through an integrated journey of post-traumatic growth.
In 2026, our work will include:
Fully-funded artists’ residency program for trauma survivors from the U.S. and abroad
Monthly group-based collaborative art projects that foster healing, amplify stories, and confront antisemitism
Therapy and emotional support provided by trauma-informed professionals
Ongoing community exhibitions that promote awareness, resilience, and empathy
Creative mentorship and career development for survivors reclaiming their voice and purpose
Every aspect of this model is designed to support holistic recovery, blending therapeutic care, creative expression, and public engagement. But none of this is possible without meaningful partnership.
Your support is essential.
We are seeking support to cover rent, buildout, insurance, maintenance, and daily operations over the next five years.
Estimated need: $15,000–$18,000/month | $180,000–$216,000/year, totaling approximately $900,000–$1,080,000 through 2030.
Your investment will provide a stable, secure home for healing, creation, and connection.
By contributing to the development of our new studio, you are not only helping to create a safe and inspiring space, but you are also actively transforming lives. You are giving survivors a platform to heal, to be seen, and to shape the collective memory of these historic events through their own hands.
Together, we can build a sanctuary of hope, creativity, and change - where trauma is not the end of the story, but the beginning of something new.
