Sisters Shenae and Shaneel embarked on the journey to create ATI Leadership Academy after
realizing traditional educational approaches may not be the best fit for each of their children who
exemplified non-academic genius. Through their frustration with the limitations of the public
school system, Shenae and Shaneel saw an opportunity to create a school that celebrates the
whole child”. By focusing on creating an eclectic and pragmatic learning environment, the
sisters believe that their children and other students like them, could thrive and become well
rounded individuals.

Who We Are

At ATI Leadership Academy, the focus is on building a strong foundation in core subjects
like math, science, language arts, and social studies, while also incorporating biblical principles
and life skills such as charity, service, gratitude, critical thinking, problem-solving,
communication, and collaboration. The curriculum is designed to be flexible and adaptable to the
needs and interests of each student, allowing them to explore their passions and develop a love
for learning. In addition to academics, ATI Leadership Academy also emphasizes spiritual, social
and emotional development, teaching students' important life skills such as resilience, empathy,
and self-awareness.
The goal is to prepare students not just for academic success, but for success in all
aspects of their lives. Shenae and Shaneel are committed to providing a safe and nurturing
environment where students feel supported and empowered to reach their full potential. They
work closely with families to create a strong partnership and ensure that each child receives the
individualized attention and support they need to thrive. Through ATI Leadership Academy,
Shenae and Shaneel hope to inspire a new generation of leaders who are confident,
compassionate, and capable of making a positive impact on the world.
