About the Educational Theatre Foundation

Since its founding in 2017, the Educational Theatre Foundation has worked to broaden representation and increase access to educational theatre. As the philanthropic arm of the Educational Theatre Association, ETF is committed to transforming lives by supporting students, educators, and theatre programs. The foundation focuses on three core goals:

1. Subsidizing new, emerging, and underserved student theatre programs;

2. Creating pathways for theatre educators to develop new skills; and

3. Commissioning research to showcase the value of a theatre education.

Through scholarships and grants, ETF ensures that all students, regardless of background, can benefit from the life-changing impact of theatre education.
