Bugsy came to us as an emaciated stray. A large dog, he should top out around 80 pounds but he weighed only 55 pounds.

Despite his obvious hunger, he remained an incredibly sweet and gentle dog, sharing his food with his tiny puppy friend. Nugget. He is supremely dog friendly and human friendly loving to have snuggle and okay time with all.

Every time his foster mom posts another video of him, I fall a little bit more in love with this gentle and kind dog. And I am so glad he is with us because I know our amazing followers will help us to help him.

Bugsy is finishing up his doxycycline month this week and his first heartworm injection is scheduled for Wednesday. The cost of his LIFE-SAVING heartworm treatment is $600. You tax deductible gift will literally SAVE HIS LIFE.
