About a Boy: Elian (7yr old) is one of our youngest members. He has grown up at Intransitive break dancing on the stage, keeping our brains sharp with his curiosity, and decorating our walls with his art. We've been supporting Elian and his family survive domestic violence and helping his mom navigate the legal system to seek an order of protection and now petition for a U-visa.

What is a U-visa? A U-visa is a type of immigration relief given to victims of certain crimes that collaborate with police. For immigrant survivors their abusers will often use threats of ICE detention as a way to prevent survivors from seeking help. U-visas help survivors have more protection and autonomy to be able to and escape domestic violence.
