Amanda Griffin – Restaurateur, Faith Leader, and Community Advocate
Amanda Griffin is a dynamic second-generation restaurateur, faith leader, and passionate community advocate whose life and legacy are deeply rooted in Wayne County, Georgia. A proud resident of Jesup from the age of four, Amanda embodies the values of integrity, purpose-driven leadership, and boundless love for her community.
Amanda’s journey of love and partnership began early—she met her husband, Josh, when she was just nine years old. What started as a childhood friendship blossomed into a lifelong union. Married for over 21 years, they are proud parents to their daughter Madison, age 13, who remains their greatest joy and inspiration. For Amanda, family is more than a priority, it’s the cornerstone of her values and the lens through which she leads with compassion and grace.
A dedicated servant-leader, Amanda serves as both Youth Pastor and Worship Leader at Surrency Baptist Church, where her family has worshipped and served faithfully for the past three years. Through her ministry, she mentors the next generation, encourages spiritual growth, and fosters an environment where faith, love, and fellowship flourish.
Professionally, Amanda brings the same passion to her role as a restaurateur. Alongside her husband and lifelong friends Pawel and Dawn Zmuda, she operates two thriving restaurant locations in the military-rich communities of Hinesville and Kingsland—with a third location in development in her cherished hometown of Jesup. Amanda considers it a profound honor to serve those who serve our nation, and her work reflects a heartfelt commitment to hospitality, community, and patriotism.
Amanda’s heart for community extends far beyond the walls of her church and restaurants. She is an active volunteer and leader in numerous youth-centered programs including 4-H, local school band programs, and various youth groups. She firmly believes in nurturing the development of younger generations, understanding that today’s youth are tomorrow’s leaders. Whether through mentorship, music, or ministry, Amanda works to empower young people to discover their purpose and potential.
Her life is one of intentionality and impact. Whether she’s leading worship, mentoring teens, supporting military families, or strengthening her local business community, Amanda’s mission is clear: to create spaces—both spiritual and social—where people feel seen, valued, and uplifted.
Amanda finds her greatest joys in singing, reading, and spending intentional time with her family. Yet, it is through her tireless service, her devotion to faith, and her unshakeable commitment to community that her legacy is truly being written. Amanda Griffin is more than a business owner, she is a builder of people, places, and purpose.
