Story
Please pledge your support today for the Grove and the Quilt to ensure Remembrance of those we've lost and inspire Hope and Activism for Health Justice in Perpetuity.
Your generous donation helps support the work and mission of the National AIDS Memorial. By sharing the story of the struggle against HIV/AIDS, we remember, in perpetuity, the lives lost, we offer healing and hope to survivors, and we inspire new generations of activists in the fight against stigma, denial, and hate, for a just future.
Light in The Grove returned on the evening of November 30, as a tented, indoor magical celebration of Reunion, Remembrance, and Renewal in the National AIDS Memorial Grove. Held annually on the eve of World AIDS Day, it is our largest annual fundraising event, with all proceeds directly supporting the mission and programs of the National AIDS Memorial.
35th anniversary of the AIDS Memorial Quilt
The National AIDS Memorial marked the 35th anniversary of the AIDS Memorial Quilt with a historic outdoor display in Golden Gate Park's Robin Williams Meadow featuring 3,000 panels of the Quilt. Watch Cleve Jones Q35 Display Speech:
