I turned into Gert the panel I created and a friend beautifully sewn for me around a few months ago. My partner for 26 years, Steve Casavant unepectedly died while I was sleeping. I was awaken by a sound and by time I got to him, he was already gone. A friend put it into my head I should do this to honor & tribute my Steve & I am so glad I did.
